2048 Efficiency Calculator
Enter one finished game's score, move count, and elapsed time. The calculator separates board efficiency from playing speed so a fast game and a clean game are not mistaken for the same thing.

Strong merge value per move
This result clears the 4,500% efficiency milestone. It reflects how much score each move produced, not whether the board was easy or difficult.
What the percentage means
2048.now defines efficiency as score divided by moves, multiplied by 100. A result of 4,876% means the game produced 48.76 score points per move. Late high-value merges can raise this number sharply.
Efficiency is not speed
Score per second measures scoring pace. Moves per second measures input pace. A player can move quickly while wasting swipes, or move slowly while making every swipe productive. That is why this calculator reports all three separately.
Compare the same grid
Use the selected grid as context when recording your result. A 6×6 board offers more space and a different score ceiling than 4×4, so the cleanest comparison is against your own earlier games on the same grid.
Efficiency trophy milestones
These are the actual efficiency thresholds used by the 2048.now trophy system. They are milestones, not universal claims about every 2048 version.

Turn the reading into a better game
If points per move is weak, review the corner and snake patterns before chasing more speed. If efficiency is healthy but score per second is low, work through the timing and swipe drills. You can also rebuild the merge score or compare a verified result on the 2048 leaderboard.
